1. Overview
This page explains how users can request deletion of their WegLabs app account and associated personal data for WegLabs apps, including WayGermany and Desk Workout.
For deletion requests, contact contact@weglabs.com or use the in-app deletion option where available.
2. Delete your account inside the app
If the app provides an in-app deletion option, you can usually find it in the profile, account, or settings area.
- Open the WegLabs app.
- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Profile, Account, or Settings.
- Select Delete Account or Account Data Deletion where available.
- Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app.
3. Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app or the in-app option is unavailable, email contact@weglabs.com.
Please include:
- The app name, such as WayGermany or Desk Workout.
- The email address used for the account.
- A clear request such as “Please delete my WegLabs app account and associated data.”
For security reasons, we may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before deleting data.
4. What data may be deleted
Depending on the app and your usage, deletion may include:
- Account profile data.
- Authentication-linked app account records.
- Synced app data, such as checklist progress, selected settings, saved sessions, notes, reminders, or recovery history.
- App-specific personal preferences and stored user content.
- AI-related stored context where applicable and technically available.
5. WayGermany data
For WayGermany, account deletion may include selected migration pathway, personal plan profile, checklist progress, reminders, notes, interview simulator history, AI credit-related user records, and synced account data where applicable.
6. Desk Workout data
For Desk Workout, account deletion may include saved sessions, recovery history, program progress, body-zone focus, preferences, settings, and synced account data where applicable.
7. What may not be deleted immediately
Some information may be retained where required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, platform, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or compliance reasons.
Purchase records may also remain with app-store platforms such as Google Play or Apple App Store according to their own policies. WegLabs may not be able to delete records controlled by those platforms.
8. Local device data
Deleting your account from WegLabs systems may not automatically remove all local data stored on your device. To remove local app data, you can uninstall the app or clear app data through your device settings.
9. Processing time
We aim to process verified deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible. The time needed may depend on verification, technical systems, app-store records, and legal requirements.
10. Restoring deleted data
After deletion is completed, deleted account data may not be recoverable. If you use the app again later, you may need to create a new account and start again.
